Today was Alex’s birthday! Unfortunately, I had two papers due, as well as an afternoon class so I wasn’t much fun for most of the day; however, once my class ended, we headed up to Harlem to do a bit of shopping, which included checking out the new Gap Factory store on 125th Street. Of course we then went to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que for dinner, which was amazing as always, and then when we got home, I proceeded to bake Alex a birthday cake (I used this recipe). We also wore party hats.
