This past Saturday my brother, Lucas, turned 22 and so I baked him a batch of cupcakes (which were gluten-free so my dad could enjoy them too) before heading down to Tortilla Flats with Alex to meet up with my family and celebrate. Tortilla Flats is the perfect festive atmosphere (I celebrated my 21st birthday there) and it’s an extra special locale because at one point in time my parents actually lived above it!
After enjoying margaritas, Mexican food, and some quality time with my family, Alex and I then headed home to enjoy some homemade frozen strawberry margaritas and catch Christoph Waltz on SNL. We also managed to arrive back home just in time to overhear a domestic dispute in our building which ultimately ended in the cops coming.
It was a pretty eventful evening to say the least.
