The past few months have been strange to say the least.
Between graduate classes ending, thesis semester beginning, endless wedding preparations, house hunting, a bridal weekend, my birthday, the wedding, the honeymoon, meetings with lawyers and mortgage brokers, signing contracts, thesis deadlines, advisor meetings, packing, moving, staying with my parents for a few weeks, and closing on our first home, I think it’s safe to say that these past few months have been a bit unusual and extraordinary.
So many exciting things have happened, and so many stressful situations were endured. It’s all been quite overwhelming. It has certainly been a bizarre and wonderful past few months, as well as an eventful and unprecedented year. And as a result, I cannot wait to slow down for a bit and settle into a new chapter of this thing called life.
