Last Thursday, Alex took me to Playland for my birthday. Playland, an amusement park located in Rye, NY, began operation in 1928 and includes a boardwalk, ice-skating rinks, a swimming pool, a beach, as well as amusement park rides – including the infamous Dragon Coaster, a wooden roller coaster built in 1929. I should also add that Playland was featured at the end of Big, as well as served as the backdrop for a scene in Fatal Attraction!
I hadn’t visited Playland since childhood, so naturally I grew very nostalgic during our trip – it was truly the perfect start to a fantastic birthday!
