After having an absolutely lovely day, which included a fantastic brunch and a delightful aquarium visit, Alex and I decided that the best way to finish out my birthday was to have ourselves a night at Rye Playland. What made the night even better was that a few of my closest friends were able to join in on the festivities!
Some highlights from the evening included discovering a tiki bar at the end of the boardwalk, riding the “Racing Derby”, which is by far the most unassumingly dangerous amusement park ride, braving the Dragon Coaster (a wooden roller-coaster built in 1929), and of course, consuming a ridiculously large amount of cotton candy.
